BEACH SCENES
Having been born and raised (mostly) in Johannesburg, I am intrigued by the culture of the beach. It is a place where people feel comfortable to strip down and loosen up in an otherwise tightened society. I enjoy their honesty, rawness and vulnerability. There is a recognizable humor to the subjects and yet they are also deeply melancholic. They are not Magazine-beauties but in their exposure I find their beauty.
